The company has managed to attract drivers with its promise of high earnings and flexible working hours.

According to the drivers I spoke to, Rapido pays its drivers Rs 30 per ride, plus Rs 5 for each kilometer traveled. This works out to an average earnings of Rs 200-250 per hour (about $3-4).
