The Benefits Of After-School Study For Your Children Here In Thailand

Every parent wants their children to do well in school so that they can go on to be successful in life and have all of the things that they never had. We try to live vicariously through our children and we provide them with everything that we didn’t have when we were growing up. Most children in Thailand spend at least eight hours for five days a week in a school environment and yet this doesn’t seem to be enough because your children’s test scores are suffering.

It might be time to look into some after-school study for your child and in order for them to be able to do their work properly you will need to invest in a foldable children’s writing desk. This piece of furniture will be able to be kept anywhere because it is easily folded away and so a study station can be set up in the kitchen, the living room and even in the bedroom.

If you are somewhat reluctant to get your child to engage in after-school study at home then the following are some of the benefits that it provides.

  • A quiet place to study – Even schools can be incredibly disruptive when it comes to learning in class because some students don’t behave and so the teacher spends a great deal of their time trying to control the room. By setting up extra after-school study at home, your child has somewhere to complete their homework and to do other activities that will strengthen their academic performance. You as the parent, get to control the environment and so your child can concentrate and prepare better.

  • They get proper supervision – Because you can set up your folding writing desk anywhere, it means that you as the parent are always present when your child is studying. This means that there will be no distractions like other kids grabbing their attention and it will be your job to make sure that they concentrate and complete their work properly. Your child can also ask you a number of questions that they can’t figure out the answer to and hopefully, you can provide them with the solutions.
  • The perfect place for homework – If you leave it up to your child to set aside time to complete their homework, they will put it off for as long as possible and so they end up doing homework into the late hours. By encouraging your child to sit down at their writing desk and to complete their homework the moment that they arrive home, you are taking better control of their time and they will be thankful for it.

It is great that you are taking an active interest in your child’s education and you are to be commended for that. You need to remember however that there is a time for work and that there is a time for play. It is just as important for your child’s education that they get free time to pursue their hobbies.
